As people age, many will lose teeth from disease or injury. When a  tooth is lost it changes the bite, causing excess stress to be placed on the remaining teeth. This stress causes those teeth to wear unevenly, leading to jaw-related pain. Missing teeth can also change your facial appearance, resulting in a loss of confidence.
 
Full and partial dentures are an option to replace missing teeth, enhance appearance and improve chewing ability. Dentures are custom fit, removable appliances. Made of resin and porcelain, complete dentures are used to replace all the teeth. When some healthy teeth remain, a partial denture can be used. A partial denture also keeps the remaining healthy teeth from shifting positions in the mouth.
