Emily Carson, DDS
General Dentist - Delta, OH

Dr. Emily Carson is originally from Grand Rapids, Ohio. After practicing dentistry in New York City, she decided to return to her former roots and join Dental Excellence of Delta. She is an alumnus of The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and is excited to be back in Northwest Ohio.
One of our favorite things about Dr. Carson is the joy she finds in impacting patients’ lives through dentistry. She keeps a photo of a gentleman she helped in New York who was moved to tears when he saw his new smile. The patient had lost all of his teeth and was fitted for custom dentures that gave him his smile back.
Dr. Carson says being in the smile business is the best part of her job. She’s found the smile to be a universal language anywhere she’s traveled. Regardless of what language someone speaks, she says their smile expresses their happiness.
When she’s not restoring smiles, you can find Dr. Carson enjoying time with her family or cooking, baking, reading, running, cycling, or traveling. Prior to dental school, she attended Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio and is a former graduate of Otsego High School. While in New York, she did her residency at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in New York, and was involved in Women’s Dentistry Association, and New York State Dental Association and the Second District Dental Society of New York. She also ran a group called “Girl Power” where she was a big sister and mentor to underprivileged middle school girls.
Dr. Carson is excited to meet you and learn how she can best serve you and our community!
